I bought this item on June twenty fifth. From then to now, i must say that I am quite satisfied. I have encountered NO problems. My original charger that i bought from Acer bailed on me within the first few months that I had bought my laptop. I was going to buy a new one from them, thinking they would be inexpensive. Trust me that was NOT the case. I am so glad i found this product on Amazon. I highly recommend this product.

This is a qualified review as I've only had the charger for about a week. It's a made-in-China item, and China doesn't QUITE have a handle on quality control, so the long-term value of their products is kind of a crap shoot. For a relatively simple item like this, though, I feel pretty confident.
As other people have mentioned, what you see in the picture above isn't EXACTLY what you get. In addition to a power cord and corded adapter, I got seven adapter heads that can sleeve over the adapter plug to fit different kinds of laptop sockets. My laptop's original power cord was 6' long, as was the cord from the adapter; for THIS product the power cord is 5' and the adapter cord is only 45". Not great, but survivable.
The adapter's existing plug fits the socket of my old Acer perfectly, and as I have a couple laptops lying around I like the universal adapter aspect (although I haven't tested the adapter heads yet.)
So far it works fine, so I'd call it a good buy for the price - for now!

I thought I'd hit gold when I found this the first one I ordered came earlier than expected and it worked just fine. A month later the small metal or copper tube came loose from the plus that fits fits into the adapter. It would come out and get stuck inside of the adapter. So I ordered another one. Two weeks after I got it the same exact thing happened. I tried everything but neither cord will work anymore.

wow, i feel so happy first the price was very awesome,others wanted major bucks amazon was the cheapest price, i hooked it up to my acer aspere and still works today.i'm glad i made the purchase. other pros it made my woker easyer.no cons here.

I'll keep it short and sweet. My original cord died, I got a new cheap one, it never worked right to begin with, it died, this one was even cheaper, it's still working 6 months later. So it's outlived my other cheap cord by 3 months and it's still kicking.
