This monitor has a beautiful picture. For the average user, this monitor is awesome! I am a professional photographer and have to calibrate my monitor for color & printing. It was a bit difficult to do that with this monitor. The monitor has such a bright depth, that it is hard to get the settings just right for professional use. I use an eye one, and that seems to do the job ok, but I'm still having my lab double check for now. If you just want a pretty picture, though, you will love this monitor.

For the most part we are pleased with the size and shape of our new Monitor, but wish that we were able to raise/lower the screen, as we were able to do with our old unit. Also wish that the screen size would have been a little taller.

The Gateway FHX2300, 23 inch monitor is an excellent computer monitor, I bought in conjunction with a new desktop computer. Setup was easy, the design is sleek and fits easily on a computer desk. The pictures and color are very good, and an HDMI connection is included. The unit does have small speakers, which are really not very good, but OK for computer sounds. I would definately get other speakers for your computer if you buy this monitor. None the less, I have been very happy with the LCD display and a good value.

The Gateway FHX2300 is a great computer monitor. It offers numerous connectivity options including HDMI and the screen image is fantastic. It worked right out of the box but one can use the software for more display options. It especially makes all photo images look exceptional. A great product and very reasonably priced.
