I have had this controller for about a week now. I love how it runs. It is simple and easy to use and set up. I mainly use this controller for emulation, ZSNES is the SNES emulator I use most. I play games like Mario, Mega Man X, and Ghouls N' Ghosts. I also play RPGs such as Final Fantasy III.
Pros:
Fast and easy installation, plug in and play.
Buttons feel pretty good.
Analog sticks feel very solid and tight.
Has a total of 12 programmable buttons, not including D-pad and analog sticks.
Long USB cable, 6ft long.
Controller is a good comfortable size.
Cons:
D-Pad is not separate buttons, which it makes it harder to be precise.
Feels slightly different than the PlayStation controller.
Some games do not run well, but I think this is the game's fault, not the gamepad.
I think this is a great addition to any PC gamer's collection, and will truly enhance your gaming experience.

I have 2 of these gamepads on 1 computer so I can
play 2-player games like World Cup Soccer. However,
my card number was stolen and I was billed for $100
from 'playstation' something, no more card.

There really aren't many choices when it comes to PC gamepads out there, and Logitech is the best bet. I would rate it with 5 stars, but I've gone through one in normal use already, so the design could be a bit more rugged. I'm about as hard as you can be on a gamepad since I'm a competitive street fighter 4 player so it wasn't any surprise when my D-pad went out after almost a year of abuse from my vigorous street fighting. The Logitech gamepads are very responsive and have great dual analogs and a button setup identical to the Playstation 2/3 controller (even the buttons on the analogs you can push in) which is great for all the recent console ports to PC like Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 5, and the fore mentioned Street fighter 4. Really it covers all of your bases and shouldn't give out on you like mine did unless you are inputting ridiculous fighting combos for hours on end.
Save yourself the headache of getting an Xbox for windows controller, Logitech is more responsive, and doesn't stop working for no reason without a fix to get it going again (The xbox ones do this) about the only drawback I can think of is that they are not wireless, but with the pricetag and horrible performance of the wireless PC gamepad options out there, you will forgive having to be tethered to a cord.
What are you waiting for? If you need gamepads for your PC then order a used set of these on amazon already. Pick up new ones if you plan on punishing them as much as a Street Fighter tournament contender.

The Logitech USB game pad is a great value!. The ergonomic button layout and functionality along with how easy it is to use make this game pad a must have item. Then throw in the fact that it's under 20 bucks!. I see no way to go wrong with this one.

The Logitech dual action game pad works perfectly on my linux box. I purchased it as a second controller, and found that it's more responsive than the other one I was using (Which was twice as expensive as this one). I now use this controller and force my friends to use the other one.
